During late summer of 2007, a group of western riding enthusiasts were gathered around a campfire discussing the bank holiday weekend ahead of them.

Four riders were present, plus family and friends.  All agreed on one thing, that there just weren't enough opportunities presenting themselves to meet up and do what they loved to do the most: Ride, Entertain & Socialise!

The pure thrill of galloping around a banner lined arena, Garth Brooks blaring over the loudspeaker, the joy on the faces of small children, clapping, laughing, cheering, & not forgetting the evenings dedicated to country music and beer of course!

Everyone agreed to meet up the following weekend to discuss further.

It was then that the Stars & Stripes Rodeo Display Team was born...........
